We are still swooning over Arielle and Jake's vibrant wedding last summer at Froggsong Gardens on Vashon Island.
"Arielle came to me with visions of large blooms and an enthusiastic eye for lots of color. Boho & casual, fun design," said Herban Bloom floral designer Amy Gilman.
"My inspiration came from Arielle’s openness to vibrant color departing traditional wedding white. This always motivates me when I can match and enhance a client’s vision. The palette we agreed upon played with all hues of red, into magenta, mustard, coral, aubergine, apricot and whites. Blue accents were important to the bride so they are found in little touches throughout the ceremony chuppah and guest table centerpieces. Blue represented with blue tweedia and delphinium."
The groom Jake was from Vashon so it was important to the couple to keep it local. The bright and bodacious florals featured locally grown flowers from some of Vashon Island’s own farm stands including Handpicked Homestead, and Sweet Alyssum Farm.
